The Residential Program

Living in the community is an important part of belonging to the community. We use creative methods to enable individuals to remain in the home of their choice and live as independently as possible within the community.

Through Residential Services, the Tuscarawas County Board of MRDD assists individuals with the goal of living in the community by providing placement, plans of care and the right level of supervision. In situations other than emergency services, availability for placement is based on affordable funding. Waiting lists are used when funds are insufficient to support new placements.
